Inside your email client, set your from and reply/to values to the email address provided to you. Then the people that you send email to will see someone@iadventist.com (you, not just someone) as the sender of the email even though you are using your usual email provider to send the email.

Example for Outlook Express:

Go to the Tools menu at the top of Outlook Express
Select the Accounts submenu
From the Internet Accounts window, click on the mail tab
Click on the mail server you usually use (to select it), then click on the Properties button
The two items you will change are
  • Email-Address:
  • Reply Address:
Set both of these to the address supplied by the webmaster at iAdventist.com, click on the OK button and then click on the Close button. You will now be using your new iAdventist.com email id.

Example for Netscape Messenger

Go to the Edit menu at the top of Netscape Messenger
Select the Preferences submenu
If the Mail & Newsgroups menu item has a [+] in fron of it, then click on the [+] to change it to a [-] and display sub items
Click on the Identity subitem
The two items you will change are
  • Email Address:
  • Reply-to Address (only needed if different from email address):
You should change both of these since some internet access providers require both to match. Set both of these to the address supplied by the webmaster at iAdventist.com and then click on the OK button. You will now be using your new iAdventist.com email id.
